Custom built library cabinets

After remodeling their 1940 adobe home's kitchen, the Patterson's wanted to remodel the small room between the garage, master bedroom and adjacent to the kitchen. The room had a tin ceiling that they wished to keep. In the design phase they told me they wanted to have a library with a bookcase that would hide the door to the garage. The cabinetry was designed by KMS Homes. Fabricated by a local cabinet shop and then installed by KMS Homes.

Its amazing what can be accomplished when a customers imagination is converted to a design, The design concept becomes a set of working drawings. Working drawings and cabinetry specifications go to local craftsman who bring the product to us to install.

Custom built  entertainment center

Our customer came to us to design a furniture piece to be built into a wall niche that used to be a closet. The unit had to have space for a flat screen TV that could be closed off and hidden when not in use. It needed to house a subwoofer and two speakers and the audio and video equipment. This unit was designed, built, and finished by KMS Homes LLC.

Rework and reface of existing cabinet

What do you do when the new TV you want wont fit into your custom cabinet that matches the rest of the home cabinets? Remodel the cabinet! This project had a few special needs. Not only did the customer want a larger TV he also wanted the cabinet that held the TV to be on rollers so he could access the audio-video wiring easily. The new entertainmet center consists of a 62" wide cabinet on rollers, speaker cloth areas for 4 speakers, and new grain matched maple faces.
